昨夜、仕事から帰って来て、NHKの松山英樹の特集番組を見ました。その中で繰り返し出てくるのが「才能は有限、努力は無限」と書かれた色紙。
この「努力は無限」を地でいくような地道な日々の努力をうまず松山は続ける。
2017年の全米プロで最終日を単独トップで迎えながら、緊張でパットが全く入らず、結果は5位。悔しがった松山はその後徹底してパットの改造・練習に取り組む。
今回のマスターズでそれが実を結ぶ。5打差の貯金が生きて、最後は1打差で逃げ切る。
